in a case you can't turn off or restart the Eee Pad, you can use a paperclip to press Emergency Shutdown Key located in 12 of the below figure to shutdown the Eee Pad.
How to enable or disable Virtual Keyboard on Asus Eee
There are two ways to display or hide Virtual Keyboard on Asus Eee. One way is using Digitizer Pen point to the place you want to type. The keyboard icon will display. Click on it. Another way is press the Virtual Keyboard button as shown at 3 of the below figure.
How to lock the current screen on Asus Eee
If you want to lock the screen in current orientation, slide the Orientation Lock Switch to the left (red dot will be visible) The Orientation Lock Switch is located in 4 of the below figure. To unlock it, slide it to the tight.
