Pixel Imprint doesn’t work

Situation: The user has a Pixel 3 Google phone. The Pixel Imprint doesn’t work any more.

Troubleshooting: We suggested the user trying this post:

Troubleshooting Google phone problem. 

He finds the problem is he has a stick inside the cover which blocks the imprint sensor.
