How to delete all photos from Android phone?

When using Google Photos, you may not be able to delete all photos at once, or you may need to delete them one by one. This can be time-consuming and difficult. Today, we will show you 3 ways to delete all photos from an Android phone.

1. Using the Storage:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap on Storage.
  3. Open the Pictures or Camera album, such as Images and then Camera.
  4. Tap the three dots menu (usually in the top-right corner).
  5. Tap on Select all.
  6. Tap the Trash icon (Delete) at the top of the screen.
  7. Confirm the deletion.

Note: Deleted photos go to the Trash or Recycle Bin folder and remain there for 30 days before permanent deletion.

2. Using File Manager:

If your gallery app doesn’t have a “Select all” option, try using the File Manager app to delete all photos.

  1. Open the File Manager app on your phone.
  2. Go to Internal Storage > DCIM (where photos are usually stored).
  3. Long-press the folder, then tap Delete.

Note: Deleted photos go to the Trash or Recycle Bin folder and remain there for 30 days before permanent deletion.

3. Using a Computer (for bulk deletion):

  1. Connect your phone to a computer using a USB cable.
  2. Allow file transfer mode on your phone.
  3. On your computer, open the phone’s storage.
  4. Navigate to the DCIM or Pictures folder.
  5. Select all photos and folders, then delete them.

4. Permanently Delete from Trash:

  • Open the Gallery app.
  • Tap the three-dot menu in the top right corner.
  • Select Trash or Recycle Bin.
  • Tap Empty or select all photos, then delete them permanently.
