When using Google Photos, you may not be able to delete all photos at once, or you may need to delete them one by one. This can be time-consuming and difficult. Today, we will show you 3 ways to delete all photos from an Android phone.
1. Using the Storage:
- Open Settings.
- Tap on Storage.
- Open the Pictures or Camera album, such as Images and then Camera.
- Tap the three dots menu (usually in the top-right corner).
- Tap on Select all.
- Tap the Trash icon (Delete) at the top of the screen.
- Confirm the deletion.
Note: Deleted photos go to the Trash or Recycle Bin folder and remain there for 30 days before permanent deletion.
2. Using File Manager:
If your gallery app doesn’t have a “Select all” option, try using the File Manager app to delete all photos.
- Open the File Manager app on your phone.
- Go to Internal Storage > DCIM (where photos are usually stored).
- Long-press the folder, then tap Delete.
Note: Deleted photos go to the Trash or Recycle Bin folder and remain there for 30 days before permanent deletion.
3. Using a Computer (for bulk deletion):
- Connect your phone to a computer using a USB cable.
- Allow file transfer mode on your phone.
- On your computer, open the phone’s storage.
- Navigate to the DCIM or Pictures folder.
- Select all photos and folders, then delete them.
4. Permanently Delete from Trash:
- Open the Gallery app.
- Tap the three-dot menu in the top right corner.
- Select Trash or Recycle Bin.
- Tap Empty or select all photos, then delete them permanently.
